NHT has assigned us a team of 5.... read more Paban Khadka (guide), Krishna Adhikari (asst guide), Ramsharan Adhikari, Lakman Thamang, Santosh Basnet (team members). Their help and support was beyond what can be described using the language, but I will try. I have a paternal type surreal feeling while enjoying their support. It felt as five young people were keeping a keen eye on six adults like a mother watching her young child all the time! Their observation was such that many times they could guess what we need or what they can help us with, much before we have to ask for it. I still can not get this in my head that one gentleman carried a box of fresh fruits to EBC so we can have balanced diet while on the trek! I know behind all this orchestration was the effort of Sh. Ganga Ji, who made all the arrangements. So a big thanks to him also. On the way all the accommodations (tea houses) were great. Food was excellent and even the service was quite prompt. I went to Nepal with the thought that it is the place which is only appropriate for me to go as hiker, but after the great experience I returned with desire to come back with the family.
