Seasons play a direct role while trekking in high-altitude areas. We can find different weather conditions in the Mansalu region in different seasons. Spring and autumn seasons are the best time if you are thinking of climbing in the Manaslu circuit.
During the spring seasons, the temperature is average, and the weather is stable. The month of spring brings the blossom of flowers and greenery to the trail. Forest, the high altitude is covered with Rhododendron flowers, and a clear view of the snowcapped mountains makes the trail beautiful. The trail is busy with a large number of trekkers because it is neither too cold nor too hot in this season.
Autumn season means the season of trekking starts in almost every trekking region. We can see a large number of visitors during the autumn season in the mountain range. The season is perfect for the trekking due to the pleasant weather conditions. After the summer rainfall, it’s the best time to view the river, stream, and waterfalls. Monsoon and the winter seasons are not favourable for trekking due to bad weather conditions. It is extremely difficult to trek if the trail is covered with snow and slippery. Also, the temperature is unbearable at high altitudes. There is a high chance of getting sick and injuries during this month.
Furthermore, during the month of the winter and monsoon, there is a high chance of getting lost during the trek. Chances of flood, landslide, heavy snowfall, and avalanche are high during this month. Also, it is difficult for the rescue mission in case an emergency occurs.
